De Dutch Summer Dance Course offers courses for professional dancers, dance students and amateur dancers from 2 1/2 years old to 65 and over. At the end of the course all students present a piece of work they have made as a final presentation for family, friends and the public.

From Monday, August 6th until Saturday, August 18th De Dutch Don't Dance Division, in association with Ballet & Co. and Holland Dance, presents the seventh edition of De Dutch Summer Dance Course (DeDSDC). De DSDC is an international summer dance course that focuses on the Dutch dance heritage. "Learn from the past, step into the future" is the motto. Students are initiated into the rich Dutch choreographic tradition: from the beginning of Dutch choreography and dance techniques, to its present day influence. DeDSDC will take place in the recently renovated Korzo Theatre in the Hague.

Since the sixties, Holland has become world-reknowned as a country famous for its dance. Students from all over the world come for its dance courses, and professional dancers come to join dance companies in order to work with world famous choreographers.

De Dutch Summer Dance Course offers courses for professional dancers, dance students and amateur dancers from 2 1/2 years old to 65 and over. At the end of the course all students present a piece of work they have made as a final presentation for family, friends and the public.

The Summer Dance Course is a wonderful opportunity to pass on to students the history and accumulated knowledge of modern dance in the Netherlands. This way dancers can develop their own visions and work toward their futures.
