As dancers, Roy Assaf, Michael Getman and Leo Lerus have each had an international career at the highest level. Now they have come together for the project Silent Warriors, in which they reflect on the relationship between art and war. Their reflections are based on their own personal experiences, which they take as the starting points for three solos.

In cooperation with Naomi Perlov, the passionate source of dance inspiration from Israel, the dancers present a powerful account that visualises the struggle to keep the voice of art from being silenced in a society where that voice is subject to pressure. At the invitation of the Holland Dance Festival, Michael Schumacher will create a fourth piece for these unique dancers, especially for the occasion.
